He was born in Blantyre but based up in Ntcheu.  His father is late Bishop Kapenga. He is Sena tribe. He started doing music in 2014 after being pushed by peers they were around him. In 2017 he scooped in new best award by UMP.

Waxy kay real name is Wonderful Kapenga in Afro Hip Hop artist. The Blantyre based rapper released songs like Akatolika and Usayerekeze.

Malceba Drops Music Vedio For "Chosadziwa Part 2" Featuring Leslie.

 Malceba Renowned hip-hop artist Mazaka Smart Banda, popularly known as Macelba, has unveiled the much anticipated music video for his song Chosadziwa Part 2. The track features singer Leslie and is part of his latest project. The video, released on Friday morning, was produced by Hendrix Kanchowa of Kanchowa Studios. Chosadziwa Part 2 is taken from Macelba’s After the Silence EP, which dropped in November last year.
