Namadingo reclaims YouTube supremacy with "Tuli"


 

Self-proclaimed "Doctor" Namadingo has reclaimed his dominance on YouTube, as his latest release, Tuli, outperforms all Malawian songs released this week by established artists.

Within just two days, Tuli has amassed an impressive 326K views, surpassing Tabwera by Onesmus, which gained 82K views in one day, and Anamudye by Wikise, which reached 120K views in four days.

This comeback follows a lukewarm reception to his previous song, Sabwelera, released two months ago. Despite being Malawi’s most-followed artist on Facebook, Sabwelera struggled to gain traction, managing only 492K views in two months, proving that even the most celebrated artists face setbacks.

With Tuli's success, Namadingo has reignited his signature phrase, Doc Anavaya, silencing critics and reaffirming his status in the music industry. His latest achievement is a testament that perseverance is key to reclaiming greatness.

 Malceba Renowned hip-hop artist Mazaka Smart Banda, popularly known as Macelba, has unveiled the much anticipated music video for his song Chosadziwa Part 2. The track features singer Leslie and is part of his latest project. The video, released on Friday morning, was produced by Hendrix Kanchowa of Kanchowa Studios. Chosadziwa Part 2 is taken from Macelba’s After the Silence EP, which dropped in November last year.
